Description

The Apple Multiple Scan 14 display featured a 12.4” viewable Shadow Mask CRT capable of displaying 32,000 colors at a resolution of 640 x 480.  It had built in stereo speakers as well as input and output jacks.

History

The Multiple Scan series was directed towards the home user.  Though not as high quality as other display types, using the less expensive Shadow Mask CRT kept costs down.

Timeline

Introduced in August of 1995, the Multiple Scan 14 display was discontinued in September 1996 when it was replaced with an upgraded model.
