Description

Packaged in a mini-tower case, the Power Macintosh 8500 had a PowerPC 604 processor running at 120Mhz.  It had 24-bit composite video and an S-video input and output.

History

The Power Macintosh 8500 was a midrange machine with impressive audio/visual features.

The processor speed was increased to 132 and 150Mhz in April of 1996.  It was increased again in August to 180Mhz.
